The Refuge is located in the heart of the Madonie Park, at an altitude of 1,580 meters in Piano Battaglia, at the foot of Mount Mufara (1,865 m a.s.l.): a setting immersed in nature and silence.
Deer, foxes, and wildlife frame this location of rare beauty.
Piano Battaglia, covered in snow in the months of winter; immersed in the coolness
and greenery of ancient beech forests in summer and spring; with a unique foliage in autumn.
The Refuge is a place of relaxation or a starting point for various sports activities
throughout all seasons of the year.
